In representing what is in the best interest of a child, volunteers are guided by four key components of the role: Research, Facilitate, Advocate, and Monitor. For Local Program Members:

Funds are available to CASA/GAL programs for providing volunteer pre-service training through a contract with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, effective for the current contract year, July 2007 to May 31, 2008.
