Participants will gain a better understanding of how stress and trauma impact children and their behavior. By learning how children can develop the capacity to cope and be strengthened by adversity, participants will be better equipped to provide needed support, help children prepare for stressful situations, and build their own resiliency.
This 1.5 hour session is in two parts; each must be fully completed to receive 1.5 hours Rule 48 continuing education certification through the Ohio CASA/GAL Association. A required five question quiz is included in each part.
